While using Windows Server system, we usually find that disk partition has no enough space and the partition needs to be resized. This problem always happens in the system partition of Windows Server. At the beginning of installation of system, system partition is enough. But with the increase of data, the system partition shall have no enough space. Even worse, the system can not boot properly or the related applications can not be boot properly. For this problem, uses always would like to change the disk or resize partition. But change disk is very tiresome and the process is very complicated. All the system or applications shall be reinstalled after the changing of disks. Thus, it is not wise to change disks. The easiest way to solve this problem is probably to resize partitions.
From the above picture, we can see the current size of system partition is about 33.43 GB, partition D is 27.43 GB and partition D has a free space of 5 GB, we can do following things to enlarge the size of partition C.
1. Backup partition D and delete partition D to resize partition C.
2. Resize partition D and reduce the size of partition D then resize partition C.
